LAS VEGAS, Nevada – August 19th, 2013 – Charles C. Brennan reports that a private airplane transporting ’80s rock bands Dokken and Ratt had to make an emergency landing in northwest Illinois after smoke was spotted in the plane’s cabin. The flight, which was scheduled for August 17, 2013, out of Moline, Illinois, was chartered by Charles C. Brennan, entrepreneur and founder of Dollar Loan Center based in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to Charles C. Brennan, the bands were scheduled for a mini tour and were en route to the Chicago area after playing in Moline with Lita Ford and Sebastian Bach.
Charles C. Brennan released a statement explaining that the cabin hadn’t filled with smoke. He went on to report that neither the pilot nor any of the 13 passengers were injured or treated for smoke inhalation. This is a relief for all ’80s hair metal fans, says Charles C. Brennan, who was immediately contacted through his office in Las Vegas.
The bands were transported to their next show in SUVs and played without incident, says Charles C. Brennan.
Ratt is a popular American heavy metal band from the ’80s, says Charles C. Brennan. The band is applauded for their contributions to glam metal and hard rock music. Ratt, explains Charles C. Brennan, continues to play shows throughout the United States today and was featured in May along with Warren and Bugsyy at a show in Las Vegas. Ratt was formed in 1976 and has sustained steady popularity. Charles C. Brennan notes that former Ratt guitarist Robbin Crosby died in 2002.
Dokken was formed in 1978, says Charles C. Brennan. The band split in the late 1980s but regrouped and has sold more than 10 million albums across the globe. According to Charles C. Brennan, Dokken was a 1989 Grammy nominee. Dokken continues to play shows throughout Nevada and California. Dokken is scheduled to appear in Reno, Nevada, in October.
Charles C. Brennan says that both bands have been intertwined with each other since the 1980s when bassist Juan Croucier left Dokken to tour and record with Ratt. The bands are notable for handling the situation with respect and dignity, says Charles C. Brennan.
