POMPANO BEACH, Florida – March 6, 2013 – The Balancing Act® on Lifetime Television has been highlighting quick, healthy meals for busy moms in 2013. Many moms are often rushed for time in the morning, but still want to ensure children have healthy lunches at school and dinners at home, according to a spokesperson from The Balancing Act Lifetime. Beginning early in 2013, The Balancing Act Lifetime brought guests on who could help demonstrate delicious, nutritious meals for children.

The Balancing Act Lifetime began the year with a feature on healthy soups that taste homemade while being as easy to prepare as canned soup. Frontier Soups™ demonstrated several recipes to The Balancing Act Lifetime viewers that can quickly add ingredients to its soups to add to its homemade flavor. Each Frontier Soups product is gluten-free and filled with nutrients to help busy moms keep children well fed during the cold winter months, The Balancing Act Lifetime viewers learned.

Also in early 2013, a chef demonstrated to The Balancing Act Lifetime viewers how to make delicious fusion dishes using a product moms have been using for years—Maruchan noodles.  The Balancing Act Lifetime demonstrated how these noodles can be combined with other ingredients to create exotic meals that fit a family’s budget.

The Balancing Act Lifetime also dedicated a segment to healthy school lunches. Many moms trust the school system to provide well-balanced midday meals to their children during the school year, and the featured guests on The Balancing Act Lifetime discussed how they were striving to improve the nutrition quality of school meals. Not only are these guests trying to bring farm-fresh ingredients to school meals, they place a high priority on creating school meals that are tasty.

The Balancing Act Lifetime also featured products from Bloomfield Farms®, a producer of foods that are free of gluten while being filled with nutrients. Parents can provide kids with such delicious snacks as brownies and muffins, as well as meals like pizza. Bloomfield Farms also demonstrated for The Balancing Act Lifetime audiences its gluten-free baking mixes, showing viewers how they can bake delicious, nutritious desserts that kids will love.
